Mainframe technology continues to form the central backbone in the system landscape of large companies in the financial services industry.
You will work for our international Service Center in Krakow as part of multi-national software development and operations team based in Germany and Poland, and work on various projects for insurance companies and banks with a focus on support and continuous further development or adaptation of business-critical applications. Hybrid work (with office in Krakow) or fully remote is possible (Poland only).
We are looking for experienced Mainframe-Programmer as well as German speakers willing to learn this technology.
As a Mainframe-Programmer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of mainframe applications. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless integration of new technologies and the optimization of existing systems. Ideal candidate has at least 2 years experiance with mainframe technology and COBOL programming language.
